Class of 2004

Bob Grant - Grant played at Georgetown High School in the early 1960's and went on to play on the offensive line at Wake Forest University from 1965-67. He was named All-ACC in 1966. He played in the National Football League with the Baltimore Colts from 1968-70 and was member of the Colt's championship team that beat the Dallas Cowboys in Super Bowl V. He also played one season wiht the Washington Redskins.

Marcus Jones - Jones was an All-State defensive lineman at Southwest-Onslow High School in 1991 and went on to star at the University of North Carolina from 1992-95. He was a consensus All-America as a senior in 1995 and was named the Atlantic Coast Conference's defensive player of the year. His jersey number is one of the honored numbers of the UNC program and is displayed in Kenan Stadium. Jones was drafted in the first round of the 1996 National Football League draft by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He went on to play eight seasons with the Bucs and the Buffalo Bills.

Rhonda Mueller Langdon - Langdon was a Dixon High School girls basketball and softball standout in the late 1970's and a member of the Campbell University Sports Hall of Fame. She led Dixon to the state 2-A basketball semifinals as a senior. At Campbell University, she starred in basketball and softball and was named the University's female athlete of the year three times. At the time of her graduation in 1982, her 1,276 career points ranked second on the school's all-time list, and she was the career rebounding leader. In 1993, she became the first woman inducted into the Campbell Sports Hall of Fame.
